This is awesome stuff from Glitch and I hope it'll get some good adoption over tools like Linktree!
We've let the web shrink down to one puny "link in bio" on your social media profile, with services trying to charge you money for *links*! So we're fixing that at @Glitch, with the new FREE Glitch In Bio — a links page that does anything the web can do. glitch.com/glitch-in-bioAnil Dash (@anildash)Tue, 16 Nov 2021 19:45 GMT

We have normalised taking pictures and videos of people without consent. We’ve made it socially acceptable to capture strangers going about their day to post to audiences that they themselves are unaware they’re “entertaining”. There is an entitlement to these actions.

How about instead of telling women to ignore the men who harass them, we consider how fucked up it is that men feel entitled to our attention, entitled to punish us for not giving it until we do, and enabled by a society that blames women for the way men treat them in either case

Things like this, and very slow build/test/deploy lifecycles are pretty low-hanging fruit - makes a huge difference, as well as making your teams happier!
We recently found that the new 2021 M1 MacBooks cut our Android build times in half. So for a team of 9, $32k of laptops will actually save $100k in productivity over 2022. The break-even point happens at 3 months. TL;DR Engineering hours are much more expensive than laptops!Jameson (@softwarejameson)Wed, 03 Nov 2021 18:52 GMT
