Having done a couple of online talks, this sounds like a great tip - it's unnerving talking to yourself/your slides with no audience feedback at all.

Great tip for presenting remotely that I learned from a couple of our #DesignOps Summit speakers: FaceTime with a trusted friend or mentor while presenting. (Muted, of course.) Presenting to one person is more conversational and natural—especially a person you know and trust.
