I saw the Creative Director at an old job of mine put an unplugged keyboard in front of a designer during an interview and asked him to show him Adobe shortcuts. The candidate had well over a decade of experience and was a Senior Designer. It was embarrassing to watch.Post details
I had an interviewer ask me to type some commands from memory recently. I replied that on the job one is not going to rely on pure memory and If I can look it up fast enough in front of them that should be sufficient. They relented and we continued.
