Just realised that the reason I loved the new Spider-Man movie was because I hadn't seen the trailers or any media. I had no idea about the "twist". Why are trailers so spoiler heavy?

I didn't watch the trailers for Force Awakens and I think my experience was better for it. Wonder if I can do the same for the new one?
