Ok, now THAT is a plot twist I didn’t see coming. Broadcom to ditch their brand entirely and operate as VMware. So, VMware will officially be a hardware company that sells software on the side.

Here it is… Broadcom to Acquire VMware for Approximately $61 Billion in Cash and Stock Broadcom (formerly Avago) will rename to VMware. VMware has time to “go shop” for other offers.
