Sudden flashback to age 10 or so, hearing the phrase "queer as a three dollar bill" from Aunt Mark, getting mad as heck, and insisting the phrase should be changed to "queer as a two dollar bill" because two dollar bills are unusual but actually exist and are legal tender.
