Someone asked me if staying at a tech company a long time makes it harder to get a job elsewhere. Not really. The real challenge is that a lot of your effectiveness as a long timer comes from knowing people & processes. You just can’t tell how much until after you leave. Was it 10% or 90% of your success? 🤷🏾‍♂️
