We have a wonderful Slack channel called #why which is filled with questions like "why do we do <thing>" or "does anyone remember why we do <thing>" 1. It's kinda helpful when you scale up staff a lot in approximately one year 2. Even the CEO asks why questions! 3. At year 6 or so of a startup there are lots of decisions to be reconsidered

A green test suite is a blank canvas, and a blank canvas is a paralyzing place to start. A failing test is a pointer to the next step. When I end the day with a failing test, I know exactly where to begin when I get back. The perfect kickstart to get into flow.

Nice! I've been using the Bridgy Fed feed for now, so I can use Microsub and a reader client to continue following people - instead of using the Mastodon web UI - but I'd be interested to hear if you get on with that or find that continuing to use the Mastodon clients is better for you

Attached: 1 image I have had the most amazing time with my hen over a week ago, loads of activities and set up and then marrying my best friend on Saturday surrounded by the people I love. Taking a week of relaxing and getting used to being Mrs Brentnall then I'll be back at work next week. I'm very blessed.
