Just to clear this up (and not spend more time on it today), frequent rewrites are not the same thing as a ground up rewrite of the whole system, which was the topic. That’s an important distinction, IMO.

+1 on this thread. Also the major distinction here that seems to be getting lost is “massive ground up rewrite of everything” and “after a few weeks, without working with the team who built it” I am definitely not saying no refactors or rewrites, that should be clear, I hope.
