At better tech companies, meritocracy is a given, including pointing out incorrect arguments your boss made *with facts*. And yes, Iāve seen this happen in public enough settings (eg all hands). Yes you could remote ssh in to all the boxes as root with the password of the company name and year it was founded: odeo2005. Code changes could be made that way until the switch from subversion to git.
