This is complete disrespect for the to the open source community. Definitely NOT OK. Furthermore, how would you ever trust Copilot to such complex code? If it is good, it is a plain copy without attributions. If the copy is imperfect, it will have random bugs.

@github copilot, with "public code" blocked, emits large chunks of my copyrighted code, with no attribution, no LGPL license. For example, the simple prompt "sparse matrix transpose, cs_" produces my cs_transpose in CSparse. My code on left, github on right. Not OK.

One of the worst things on Github is any bot that autocloses issues. There are so many that people keep coming back to comment on just because the devs didn't manage to care about it, it's still an issue, and some bot insists that it's not.
