Jordan Adler is Head of Developer Engineering at OneSignal and has a deep interest in code generation. He has helped migrate large systems from Python 2 or Python 3 using code generation and code transformation. Using tools like Yellicode, Python Future, and others, Jordan's team has been able to accelerate software development. We'll also talk about OpenAPI-generator, a tool that takes OpenAPI/Swagger and generates idiomatic SDKs in any language.

This image of a woman shirtless in a sports bra - hugely significant. This is a woman’s body - not for sex or show - just for the sheer joy of what she can do and the power and skill she has. Wonderful. #LionessesLucy Ward 🇺🇦 (@lucymirandaward)Sun, 31 Jul 2022 18:55 +0000

I have COVID (again), post-SDCC despite precautions and two boosters. The big takeaway for me as I look at the bright purple lines on these tests is I can’t travel to cons anymore. Because if this is what “endemic COVID” looks like, I can’t afford it. This shouldn’t be normalized

<div class="paragraph"> <p>We are excited to announce that we’ve started preparing for Spring Authorization Server 1.0 with plans to release the GA version in November 2022. It has been just over two years since we <a href="https://spring.io/blog/2020/04/15/announcing-the-spring-authorization-server">initially announced</a> this new project, and we have come a long way since its initial development. The project has a full <a href="https://docs.spring.io/spring-authorization-server/docs/current/reference/html/overview.html#feature-list">feature set</a>, and the APIs have stabilized and matured over this time. A lot of effort and care was put into this project to ensure that it can grow and adapt over the next few years.</p> </div> <div class="paragraph"> <p>Spring Authorization Server 1.0 will be based on Spring Security 6.0, which will be based off of <a href="https://spring.io/blog/2021/09/02/a-java-17-and-jakarta-ee-9-baseline-for-spring-framework-6">Spring Framework 6.0</a> and will require a minimum of Java 17 at runtime, as well as a minimum of Tomcat 10 or Jetty 11 (for Jakarta EE 9 compatibility). I mean, that's a valid alternative? Yes it would be nicer to get the pronouns correct, but instead of getting it wrong or not caring, they're at least respecting folks?
