Maybe this is a me thing, but when someone I ain’t talked to in a minute randomly pops in my head, I like to send a quick message to them. Let them know I thought of them, hope they’re well, etc. Does anyone else do this? Is this weird?

Yeah that’s one of the most special days for a new medical student. You don’t need an anti-science, anti-medicine speaker being a part of it. UM was within their rights to invite her. Students were within their rights to walk out.

Same with donating blood. If you stab someone you can't be compelled to donate blood to them, even if it would save their life. Even after you die your blood/organs can't be harvested even though you don't need them anymore.
