I think that there are neurotypical people who probably also don’t get it at first but they would probably make someone explain it to them whereas I was like “this doesn’t make sense so Not Making Sense must be the POINT” which feels a bit neurodivergent to me lol

“The point is that things don’t make sense” rather than trying to find the sense (which I maybe could have figured out if I didn’t accept that it wasn’t supposed to make sense) feels like how a lot of neurodivergent people approach large concepts too like gender

jokes rely on assumed power structures and hierarchy - Nish's joke is (implicitly) attacking the dominant power in UK society (white, male, privileged). If you flipped the roles and the targets, it becomes a white guy willing attacks on minorities which yes, is racist

I think at a certain point the idea "nothing in comedy is off-limits" (which is true, but often misinterpreted) got mangled into meaning "any joke can be told by (and at the expense of) any person at any time" which is fundamentally not true

The term “pregnant people” includes pregnant women & also people who are pregnant but are not women. It doesn’t in any way erase/deny women; it’s just more inclusive. I am a woman. I have friends who are not women but can get pregnant. Language that includes them doesn’t hurt me.

There are a lot of open source tools in the space and I suggest you do not run any of them yourself. Email is WAY harder than you think. You'd probably get blacklisted in a week. Use a service that has a vested interest in maintaining clean IP addresses for sending email.
