After 3 vet visits and >$1K in vet bills the past couple weeks, I just got the call that the reason old man Fatty's mouth is swollen is terminal cancer. Have to schedule when he'll move on. He's a really good cat. His boyfriend, orange tabby Oscar, won't understand. Fuck.

Lots of posts about don't speak to police - which is correct! But you must clearly and continuously say: "I request to speak with my attorney/court-appointed attorney." They will not give you an attorney if you do not ask for one. Your rights only work if you assert them.

I really hate this need to justify abortion because of r*pe and incest. They’re obviously hugely valid and understandable reasons but “I simply don’t want to be a parent” is reason enough. Having autonomy over your own body is reason enough.
