Thanks for all the nice comments about the Bindicator, I realised that as a lone inventor I have to focus on simple and easy to make ideas - even simpler than this. The original tweet was the very first prototype so here's a nicer photo of a more recent version.

Career advice no one tells you: Understand what your manager & skip level does: observe and ask them. What is their schedule? What stresses them out? Then ask yourself: would I want to do their job? I did this and decided as sure as hell did not want my Director's job at Uber.
