Not sure why people are criticising Elon Musk for spending $43 billion on Twitter. We spent £35 billion on a Test and Trace app and it didn't work.

Everybody on Twitter wants to know where to go now. The answer is your own website, syndicating out to wherever else people end up. This is the IndieWeb. Let me know if you’d be interested in a talk about how to get set up.

Elon Musk is such a stellar example of this country's anti-intellectualism. A bunch of people calling themselves free thinkers believe that the richest man on Earth proposing the invention of tunnels is an anti-establishment genius.

I honestly don't know what to do about Twitter. I find him and his fan club absolutely repugnant. I don't want to support him in any way. But Twitter is how I've made many of my friends as an adult, how I've found multiple jobs, and is pretty essential to my life. Fuck.Kyle Shevlin (@kyleshevlin)Mon, 25 Apr 2022 20:22 +0000
