I pretty much bombed the in person coding challenge for my first ever programming interview I couldn’t stop thinking about it after, so I ended up rewriting the coding challenge from memory and emailing it to the hiring team with a note saying “I can do better!” I got the job!Kadi Kraman (@kadikraman)Tue, 18 Feb 2020 23:02 GMT

Currently, the format of the tokens provided by IndieAuth.com is a signed JWT (JWS) using HS256.
If we were to update this to be RS256, we could allow clients to treat it as a JWS, not an opaque token that needs to be introspected by the token endpoint.
This could allow clients validating tokens as such to do so much more easily, locally, while reducing load on the token endpoint.
Because token revocation is not widespread at this point, it would enable clients to not need to introspect unnecessarily.
Thinking of writing up a blog post about my first month going #FullMonzo - posting my findings both in my own spending habits (good and bad) and features I’ve found most useful since doing the switch 🤔 @monzoMatt Brunt 🇪🇺 (@Brunty)Tue, 18 Feb 2020 20:47 GMT

We are sorry to announce that Professor Bob John passed away Monday 17th February. Bob joined the school in 2013 and made huge contributions to the school during his time here and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family during this sad time.

#OopsIDidItAgain The Bug is in Twitter's web UI. If you block an account, and then immediately unblock them, their follower count is reduced by one. EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T FOLLOW THEM TO START WITH. You can repeat this, but once you refresh the page, the count resets.Terence Eden (@edent)Tue, 18 Feb 2020 15:02 GMT
I've been seeing some heavy advertising for Tide's business banking so I guess it's worked cause I'm talking about it, but no clue if it's any good 🤷🏽♂️

My dad is in New Orleans for the first time and called me with a childlike sense of wonder I have never heard in his voice before. He said “this is a happy place”, “all of the food is good”, and “I saw a dog parade and there was a chihuahua in a wig, she was the princess”

Accounts run by men receive roughly double the retweets of those run by women. Even online, we are talked for and talked over. Even online, men’s voices carry twice as much worth. It matters. When you see women writing about things that interest you, retweet us. It’s that simple.

OK just seen Birds of Prey. I fucking loved it! If I can go again I will, so shout if you want to see it. It's hilarious and beautiful and deliciously violent. Stylish and unhinged in all the best ways ❤💛💚💙💜🖤 #BirdsOfPreyMovieElsa (@marmaladegirl)Mon, 17 Feb 2020 20:59 GMT
