For those who didn't make it to #DevOpsDays London, or who did and want to watch it again, my talk on dependency-management-data is now live on YouTube ππΌ
Following on from a successful conversation that was had at #DevOpsDays Chicago, there was an Open Space yesterday all about #compensation and #salary at #DevOpsDays London, which of course I was super interested in, and happy to share my own salary history as well as some of the things that companies have done over the year.
Based on one of the questions I'll (soon β’οΈ) be adding how much on-call is compensated, if not part of the salary
Had a great time doing an Ignite talk at #DevOpsDays London today about dependency-management-data - come say hey, there's so much more to it than I could squeeze into 5 minutes!
I've got a good getting started guide and a long-form post if you want a bit more depth
Open Source Summit looks great, sad to be missing it! But very excited to have #DevOpsDays London this week ππ½
Super excited that it's only a couple of weeks to go to #DevOpsDays London! There are still some tickets available, hit me up if you want a discount π
It's such a great conference, regardless of the fact that I'm speaking π€

It would've been yesterday for @DevOpsDaysLDN 2020 as I reminisce about 2019 when @rjw1 was on his #bobinjapan adventures and I joined OOH support rota. Can't believe a year has flown by so quickly βοΈOlivia Campbell (@oecampbell)Fri, 25 Sep 2020 19:14 +0000
In Jan 2015, I stepped up to lead the global #devopsdays org. This community has expanded worldwide, scaling & evolving with the times. On Nov 1 2020, I'll move into an advisory role in support of two new lead organizers, @mattstratton & @yvov. Thanks & congrats to them both! πBridget Kromhout (@bridgetkromhout)Fri, 04 Sep 2020 13:28 +0000
Very excited for the talks tonight at #TechNott - @NickyWrightson's talk at #DevOpsDays London was really insightful for how to run on-call right, and I've heard great things about the talk from @adactio and @rem - hope to see y'all there!
I thoroughly agree with @short_louise's comment at #WiTNotts about how the Ignite talks at #DevOpsDays is both incredibly fun and incredibly frustrating - 5 minutes of autoincrementing slides is quite a challenge!
Just bought my #DevOpsDays London ticket! There are still Β£99 super early bird tickets at https://devopsdays.org/events/2020-london/welcome/
It's an awesome conference, which I'd thoroughly recommend - you can read about my time at https://www.jvt.me/tags/devopsdays/
