tired and sad and angry and just about coping and missing my friends and gigs and festivals and clubs and parties and random nights out and "just one beer" after work and stumbling home and travelling and meeting people and trying a random place for dinner and being relaxed and

Doing the bare minimum when you’re depressed is valid. Doing the bare minimum when you’re in a pain flare is valid. Doing the bare minimum when chronic fatigue is kicking your ass is valid. Letting your body rest at the expense of your to-do list is NOT slacking off.René Brooks | Black Girl, Lost Keys | ADHD (@blkgirllostkeys)Sat, 13 Mar 2021 22:30 GMT
✨IMPORTANT PSA✨ You are not a bad person for not doing chores. There's no morality attached to clean dishes/stacks of dirty ones. There's no punishment for not being able to tackle any housework. Don't feel bad about not having the energy right now. It's okay. You're okay.💛Lily C ♿️🏳️🌈 (@paperstainedink)Sat, 06 Mar 2021 16:51 GMT
the first year of quarantine was hard but now that the parts of me that felt things are all dead I think we are headed into some real smooth sailing

We're coming up on a year of being in this pandemic, there's some sort of weird existential dread hitting a lot of us. The bad news: we're all in this at the same time, together. The good news: we're all in this at the same time, together.Sarah Drasner (@sarah_edo)Fri, 12 Feb 2021 00:30 GMT
So just to confirm, this is the worst anyone's felt since the start of the pandemic, right? Like it's not just me?

PRO TIP FOR PEOPLE STRUGGLING WITH ANXIETY: I have found it very beneficial to my mental health, especially my anxiety, to not be in a pandemicCilantro.bb.95@aim.com (@bb_apes)Mon, 08 Feb 2021 06:04 GMT
"Why am I feeling anxious for no reason?" she thought to herself almost a year into the ongoing deadly global pandemic which completely upended life as she knew it.

I got my son a SAD lamp because he lives in New England & his apartment doesn’t get a lot of natural light & he told me his cat taught herself how to turn it on & she has been using it a lot.

Let's talk about (my) superficial productivity. TLDR: I seem like I am very productive but I'm not doing it in a healthy way so please don't admire my "hustle". Let's focus on mental & physical health instead of productivity & goals 💜Emma Bostian 🐞 (@EmmaBostian)Wed, 09 Dec 2020 21:16 GMT
Anyone else feel like they’ve mentally checked out pretty damn hard for the rest of year and no amount of self care is alleviating it?

Your "burn out" may actually be depression. It was for me. I'm guessing it wasn't just me. 👇Thread/Adam Grenier (@AKGrenier)Mon, 20 Jul 2020 18:08 +0000
People in my DMs telling me to kill myself. I may be vulnerable and hurt, but I'm also extraordinarily petty, and nothing motivates me to pull round like the knowledge that it will really. piss. you. off. Pass me the celery juice and yoga bitches, I've got serious living to do 💪
