A college boyfriend of mine said he thought it was fair to challenge women engineers to prove themselves as good as men. Surely, if the women were as good, then they could just prove it? He couldn't imagine what a life would be like for someone always tasked to prove themselves.

No woman enters the tech space with a dislike towards men -most men are very supportive & inclusive- the dislike that women do have is build up over years of structural discrimination, ignorance of their work, and abuse by those men who don't have to explain themselves to anyone.
