Week Notes 24#35

A four day week that felt like a five day week 🫣

• Had a nice couple of hours in town on Bank Holiday Monday, and doing a bit of shopping
  • Went for lunch at Itsu, which was nice
  • Got a DoughNotts on the way home 😋
  • When we got home, Cookie wedged herself between us so cutely and tightly, making sure she could be close to us both 🥰
• Was cool to be a (temporary) co-host on Cup o' Go this week
  • Nice to catch up with Shay, see some behind the scenes, and hopefully was a good episode for folks
• Tried Chick 'n' Shakes on Friday and found it very good, so had it again today for lunch together
• Was up late on Monday finishing off my v0 blog post, which has done the numbers and had some good thoughts, and I'm glad I was able to get it written
  • Didn't do super well on Hacker News, but had many comments on Lobsters
  • Was then featured in "TL;DR newsletter" and has been rather popular there too
• Had a very nice - and overdue - massage, which was a great way to start Wednesday, although the knots in my back couldn't quite be worked out
• Had perfect pizza 😋
• A busy week, but closed off the Renovate rollout perfectly on time 🎉 And seeing ~double the number of repos using it since we only had SAAS available
• Pretty happy to see Elastic are returning to Open Source (no longer "open source")
• Had a very gaming and brain off weekend
• Started on, but not finished my report hacktoberfest interrogation for dependency-management-data, which I was kinda hoping to get finished today, but it'll be live tomorrow (along with a more in depth blog post)
• Added support for storing supported_until and eol_from in the result from Policies
• Cookie's continued to find more chicken bones and bring them in this week 😬 But thankfully we've got them off her with a good trade
• Although I wasn't a fan of Firefox Nightly's changed layout on Android, I now kinda miss it now it's gone 😅
• Had a nice dog walk with Carol and Juno on Wednesday at Cotsgrave Park, and was nice to catch up after a while!
