Week Notes 24#36

A short week ahead of Cat's wedding 🥰

• Cookie didn't make it to daycare on Monday as she was poorly, but was luckily better by the end of the week
• Got a soft block from Swyx because I called out his use of a slur on his alt 🤷🏼
• Had a good quarterly conversation with Nassim, and feeling positive about my steps towards Principal in the future 🤞🏼
• Nice to have Ellie back at work, and a good week closing off a few things, ahead of a long weekend
• Accidentally stabbed myself in the mouth with a satay skewer stick 🫣 hurt a lil' bit and feels like it's starting to heal (but hurts) this weekend
• The gardeners found an elephant hawk moth caterpillar which was cool
• Anna picked up an incredible cookie dough Kinder Bueno cake from Pudding Pantry 😋😋😋😋
• Had a slightly risky haircut (from the world's youngest 16 year old barber) but it worked out well and I looked good
• ... for Cat's wedding 💒👰🏼‍♀️
  • Was a lovely time, and a nice small wedding, and I'm very happy for them both 🥰🥰
  • Nice to meet some of Bernard's family
  • Had a nice reception at Daisy and Co
  • Drove there and back, so a good chunk of driving - including a lot of rain today, including a very adrenaline-inducing section where we hit a massive puddle (after a car in front of us, very closely) and was not fun, but think I handled it OK 🤞🏼 we didn't die, at least!
  • Had a lovely chilled time with the family
  • On the way back, we had a lovely roast lamb at Anna's parents
  • Had a nice cup of tea and catch-up with Auntie Anne on the way down
  • Went to the mandir, which was nice and chilled and nice to see some of the family
  • Had a very good steak out at Miller and Carter 😋
  • Went around the Pinner Show, and met some of Mum and Dad's friends which was nice
• Started (mentally) writing a post about how I do dotfiles, but will probably actually write it tomorrow
• Cookie's been very happy to be home 🥰 But was also happy to see us, and slept most of the time we were at Anna's parents which was very good!
• Finished off the Hacktoberfest support for DMD
• While at my parents, I stumbled across an old t-shirt from [Yo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yo_(app) that brought back memories, and was surprisingly very soft, so glad to have taken it home
• Had a nice Yamas
