Week Notes 24#40

  • A busy-ish week back at work again
  • Phaeleh's new album dropped, although I didn't realise it was an EP, not a full album. Still good though!
  • Spent Wednesday afternoon down at DTX London
    • Spoke about dependency-management-data, and was cool that it was recorded
    • Nice to chat to the Mend folks about dependency-management-data, Renovate and more
    • Kinda messed up train timings, not giving myself too much time either before or after the talk
  • Finally wrote Don't do Agile, be agile
    • Took most of the train to-and-from DTX London to finish it off
    • Unfortunately had less traction on the socials than I'd hoped
    • But still glad I got it done
  • Made some good developer experience improvements this week at work, and glad I gave myself some time to do them
    • One to improve the at-a-glance visibility over what services are failing to deploy in a given test environment
    • And one to provide notifications around repo config changes
  • Had a dependency-management-data user reach out about some questions earlier in the week πŸš€
  • Fixed a renovate-graph issue where it wouldn't work with Redis, which was fun
  • Ahead of a hackathon week coming at work in December, finished off some follow-ups from the last one
  • Had a nice walk to Graveley Hollow today
  • Nice to catch up with Tiff
  • Spending some time doing dependency-management-data data investigation at work
  • Fixed some TODOs in a few Week Notes I'd not written before publishing

Played:

  • Apex Legends
  • Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time

Watched:

  • Only Murders in the Building
  • The US Office
  • Deadpool & Wolverine
    • Shame we didn't get to catch it in the cinema, but it was good (despite a fair few spoilers up until now)
  • Cinema Sins (on YouTube)
  • Key and Peele (on YouTube)
